“I’ve been creating handmade cards for almost 10 years, but only turned it into a business during the past year and a half. The biggest surprise to me has been the success of my card that has an outline of Michigan with ‘smitten’ hand-stamped underneath. At one show I did this summer, that design alone was a full 1/3 of my sales! I think it is a wonderful reflection on the arts community in Michigan, as well as the people who are supporting local artists. There is an atmosphere of pride surrounding the immense talent, creativity, and ingenuity of the Michigan residents that will continue to creative positive change in our beautiful state.”
